Bluetooth Panic Alert

Bluetooth Panic Alerting

For more than a decade, ZONITH has been the market leader in Bluetooth-based indoor tracking and alarm handling solutions. Users worldwide have benefited from a unique platform combining positioning of staff with the ZONITH Alarm Control System (ACS). The current Real Time Location System (RTLS) integrates both Bluetooth technology to monitor staff indoors and GPS technology to locate staff outdoors. The Real Time Location System monitors the position of standard Bluetooth devices, including tags, radios and Android smartphones.

Bluetooth ID Badge

Bluetooth ID Badge Introducing ZONITH’s Bluetooth ID Badge. The badge functions as a regular ID badge, however the built-in Bluetooth unit and panic button on the back allows a discrete positioning and panic alerting system that takes staff safety to the next level. By combining 3 technologies in the Bluetooth ID Badge, staff are safeguarded no matter their location.

  1. Any standard ID card will work with the Bluetooth ID Badge.
  2. The design of the badge allows the ID card to slide in easily.
  3. The Bluetooth Badge and ID card is combined in one smart solution.
  4. On the back of the Bluetooth Badge you will see the discretely and strategically placed positioning and panic alerting button.
  5. If an emergency arises, one short press triggers an alarm through the Bluetooth RTLS positioning network.

  1. Built-in Bluetooth allows the unit to be positioned using the functionality of the RTLS system. In this way organisations will know where their employees, visitors or lone-workers are in case a distress situation or accident arises.

  2. A panic button is discretely located on the back of the badge. One short press triggers an alarm through the Bluetooth RTLS positioning network. When an alarm is raised it will automatically be sent to colleagues, security or other rescue teams allowing quick assistance with clear information about the exact location of the event.

  3. Low power warning. The Bluetooth ID Badge has a rechargeable battery. When the battery gets low on power a warning will be sent to the employee on their mobile phones, email or even on their computer screen.
